Channel 11 Visits Secret Service Command Center In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Channel 11 visited the Secret Service’s command center in Pittsburgh for the G-20 Summit. It’s a war room, but the Secret Service’s mission is to protect and keep the peace.
Channel 11 was sworn not to reveal its location, but the Secret Service was happy to talk about the areas it plans to protect.

Pennsylvania State Police are on patrol. 1,200 troopers have hit the streets.
“Our aviation unit, K-9 unit bomb squad, special emergency response team, our bicycle unit and our mounted unit our horses are here,” said Col. Frank Pawlowski of Pennsylvania State Police.
