The Michigan State Police have announced how the layoff of 100 state troopers will affect 48 posts around the state beginning June 28.
The State Police posts at Ypsilanti and Flint will lose the most, five troopers each.
All 82 troopers who graduated from a training academy in December will be laid off, as well as 18 troopers from a 2004 training session.
The layoffs were ordered last week by Gov. Jennifer Granholm and approved by state lawmakers as part of a plan to slice $304 million from the state budget.
