Federal appeals court upholds $15-million civil award for Rampart police officers 

The panel supports a jury’s verdict that the LAPD and city violated the rights of the three men by arresting and charging them without adequate evidence during their division’s corruption scandal.

Reward offered for arrest of man who assaulted state trooper near Shippensburg

 

A reward is being offered in the search for a Shippensburg man accused of assaulting a Pennsylvania State Police trooper Sunday night in Southampton Township.

 

Franklin County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of 45-year-old Jerry Lee Ott. He is believed to be armed and in the Shippensburg area where he has friends and family, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg. Continue reading →
