HARRISBURG — Kenneth McCabe, a Gaming Control Board member and a former FBI agent, said he was “misled” by the two top-ranking officers of the Pennsylvania State Police in 2006 while the board was considering a license for Louis DeNaples, who was charged with perjury last month.
McCabe told a state Senate committee Wednesday that Col. Jeffrey Miller, the state police commander, and former Lt. Col. Ralph Periandi didn’t give him adequate information to make a decision about DeNaples, who was awarded a casino license in December 2006.
“I believe I was misled,” McCabe said.
